OUR WINEMAKERS
Edward Sparks
Edward Sparks, a native of Bordeaux, France, grew up immersed in his family’s wine business, where his passion for winemaking first took root. Pursuing his dedication to the craft, Edward studied biochemistry, viticulture, and wine business management, building a strong foundation in the art and science of winemaking.
Eager to broaden his horizons, he ventured to the United States, where he gained hands-on experience through an internship in Napa Valley, California. Seeking to deepen his expertise, Edward explored new opportunities on the East Coast, eventually discovering the emerging potential of White Horse Winery. Inspired by its vision, he chose to make it his home.
As a skilled viticulturist, Edward ensures the health and quality of the vines and fruit, laying the groundwork for exceptional wines. Together with Seferino, Edward combines his technical expertise and innovative approach to craft wines of the highest caliber, reflecting their shared commitment to excellence.
